Vinyard

Quality first: every phase of the production is carefully planned

Blu clays from rocks weathering and deep ocean sands from the ancient Tuscan sea,  the Valdichiana Sea. In this part of Montepulciano these features are more impacting on vines’ roots than in other crus. Abbiadia was an isle thousands of years ago and that’s why we decided to plan coasts’ white grape and international red grapes. Thinking of a Bolgeri’s or Bordeaux’s “internal” face.

So our 6 hectars of vineyards planted in three crus are reflecting three footprints: a sangiovese made as Nobile di Montepulciano reclects the most ancient sangiovese interpretation in the world, a red blend of international red grapes is a way to take a 50 years of supertuscans and read them in a place which is a “sea into the cypresses’ hills of Siena”, a white international blend has the aim of grab the salt whic is still fermenting in these soils covered by sea water until Medieval Ages.
